Day 1
Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Welcome upon your arrival to the city of temples. You will receive a warm welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then check-in to your hotel and get a detailed plan of your trek. You will get your permits this day and meet fellow travelers, guides, and porters. Make sure to bring necessary documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

Trek Preparation and Kathmandu Valley Exploration
Trek Preparation and Kathmandu Valley Exploration
You’ll have a full day exploring Kathmandu Valley. On this trip, you will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites. It includes Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. Not to forget this is also your prep day. You need to be ready for your journey the next day. Thus, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you are missing something, then you can buy them from hubs like Thamel.
Day 3
Flight/Drive to Pokhara
Flight/Drive to Pokhara
You will begin your day by taking off an early flight to Pokhara. It will take about half an hour to reach there. You also have another option to get there, by taking a private ride. This scenic ride takes on about 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can indulge yourself in various activities. The choice is all yours!
Day 4
Flight to Jomsom (2743m)  and Trek to Kagbeni (2804m)

Again, your day will begin with another flight. This time it would be to Jomsom. It is the starting point of your trek. After the scenic flight session, you will head to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is a unique traditional village oof Mustang which is also a major gateway. Here, you can explore the typical lifestyle of locals who follow special forms of ancient culture and tradition

Trek From Kagbeni to Chele (3050m)
Trek From Kagbeni to Chele (3050m)
Leaving back Kagbeni, you will proceed to Chele. On this course, you will pass through villages like Tangbe and Chuksang. As you reach around the altitude of 3000 meters, the scenic mount view also appears. Amongst all, Mountain Niligiri and Tukuche look awesome. You will have to walk about 6-7 hours to reach Chele village from Kagbeni.

Another exciting day of your trek begins. Well, this part of the trek might be demanding and adventurous for some. This is because you will pass two large ridges as Taklam La Pass (3624m) and Dajori La Pass (3735m). You will have lovely views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. It would be a long day to get at Syangboche which will take around 7-8 hours.
Day 7
Trek to Ghami (3500m)
Trek to Ghami (3500m)
Your next destination is Ghami, Mustang’s third settlement. For getting there, you will walk along the terraced valley of Ghelung. Likewise, you will pass via Nyi La Pass and Ghami La Pass. After these rough climbs of 6-7 hours, you will reach Ghami. It is a village rich in ancient monasteries, chorten, mani walls, and stupas.

Trek to Tsarang (Charang) (3570m)
Trek to Tsarang (Charang) (3570m)
After Ghami, you will take the uphill trails that lead to Tsarang. Tsarang is Mustang’s second famous town, known to be the ‘Land of Chortens’. Thus, you can expect to visit some exceptional masterpieces like Ghulpa Sect Monastery. On the way, there are many charming villages and soaring cliffs like Choya La Pass (3820m).
Day 9
Trek to Lo Manthang (3840m)
Trek to Lo Manthang (3840m)
The ultimate thrilling day arrives as you visit the kingdom of Lo Manthang. Lo Manthang is ‘The Last Forbidden Kingdom’ which delivers the true sense if ancient civilization. To get there, you will cross several plateaus and villages including Tsarang, Tsarang chu, Lo La Pass (3950m). There is also Tholung village at 3580 meters and several chortens on your way. Above the windy passes, you can get an eye-catching view of Mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.

Acclimatization Day at Lo Manthang
Acclimatization Day at Lo Manthang
The walled city of Mustang, Lo Manthang has many things to offer. Thus, daybreak at Lo is a good idea. Further, this break will also great for acclimatization. It enables you to adapt to higher altitudes and cope with less oxygen. While you stay there, you can visit some remarkable places at Nyphu cave, Jhong Sky Cave, Choose & Gharphu valley. You can even opt for jeep safari and horse riding.
Day 11
 Lo Manthang to Drakmar (3810m)
Lo Manthang to Drakmar (3810m)
Now, leaving the route of Lo, your trail begins to pass towards Drakmar. You will begin your journey with consecutive ups and downs which will take you through Gyakar village. It is famous for an amazing rock painting called Ghar Gompa. This legendary rock is about 1200 years old. You will also witness Marang La Pass (4300m) on your way. Overnight at Drakmar!
Day 12
 Drakmar to Ghiling (3750m)
Drakmar to Ghiling (3750m)
The series of descending continues and following it, you will head to Ghiling. Walking on the trails of Ghiling will give you a thrilling experience. Ghiling village is another unique part of Mustang that gives good views of Mount Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri.
Day 13
Ghiling to Tetang/Chhusang (2980m)
Ghiling to Tetang/Chhusang (2980m)
The ultimate destination for this day is Chhusang. If you wish, you can stay at Tetang village too. Tetang village is the village that lies above Tetang between two ridges. The major highlight for this day is Chungsi Cave Monastery. Along with some beautiful peaks, you can also see large glaciers.
Day 14
Trek to Muktinath (3710m) and Drive to Jomsom (2743m)

After exploring the Mustang region, you will head back to the Annapurna region. The trails comprise of scenic mani walls, colossal plateau, and apple orchards. At first, you will visit Muktinath temple which will take around 4-5 hours. Visiting the iconic temple, you will drive back to Jomsom by a local jeep. It will take about 2-3 hours.

Flight Back to Pokhara and Day Rest

It is your final day of the trek. You are in the beautiful part of your trek. Jomsom has contrasting highlights and full of unique landscapes. Thus, you can spend your morning exploring its suburbs. After the exploration, you will take a flight back to Pokhara. The half an hour flight experience is delightful. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can traverse to many tourist destinations. You will enjoy your stay there.

Here comes the final day of your journey. You have two options of return to Kathmandu. You can either take flight or take any private vehicle. The flight takes about half an hour while the drive takes 6-7 hours. As you know both options have good perks, the choice is all yours!
