Day 1
Welcome to Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu
Our representatives will pick you from the airport (Tribhuvan International Airport) after your arrival. Then, you will head to your hotel and rest for a while. You will be staying at a 3-Star hotel in Kathmandu. Later in the evening, you can go to Thamel and have a fine evening. You will also get your permits and meet fellow travelers, guides, and porters this day.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
On this day you will make the necessary preparations for your trek. You can talk to your guide and make sure you have everything packed in your bag. This way you can be fully prepared for this strenuous trek. Later, you will go for Kathmandu Sightseeing and visit several UNESCO World Heritage sites. These sites include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Day 3
Drive to Jagat (1100m)
Drive to Jagat (1100m)
Your journey to Nar Phu valley begins with a long drive from Kathmandu to Jagat. You will walk up early in the morning and begin the drive. You will take the road via Besishar to reach Jagat. Even though the drive is about 8-9 hours, it’s going to be scenic. You can enjoy the picturesque views of lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, and lovely farmlands too.
Day 4

Your trekking will begin today from Jagat. At first, you will descend to Ghatte Khola and begin ascending towards Chamje. Then, you’ll cross a suspension bridge over the Marshyangdi River. You then enter villages like Tal, Khorte, and Karte before you reach Dharapani. Dharapani is one of the biggest Tibetan influenced villages of this region. The teahouses there will offer you a variety of local delicacies and warm hospitality.
Day 5
 Trek to Koto (2610m)

Leaving Dharapani, you’ll begin to continue along the narrow alley and uphill climbs. Moving along, you’ll head towards various typical settlements like Bagarchha, Timang, and Latamarang. Enroute, you can also encounter whitewashed monasteries, dense forest, and glimpses of Manaslu, Annapurna II, and other surrounding peaks. Overnight at Koto!
Day 6

Trek to Meta (3560m)
Another day begins with where you will head towards the trails of high valleys like Nar and Phu. You would start your walk into a narrow gorge and enter the alpine forest of oak, orchids, and rhododendron. So, you can expect to witness the unseen side of nature this day. On your way, you will pass via different settlements before reaching Meta. Standing on a Tibetan plateau, Meta is a first ex-Khampa village on the route.
Day 7

It is a significant day as you process to one of the destinations of your trek: Phu Gaon. Like in the other days the trails you’ll follow are a combo of uphill & downhills. You’ll also pass via various ex-Khampa settlements like Junam Goth and Kyang. You also cross several bridges and visit mani walls & gompa. Upon walking for 7-8 hours all day, you will reach Phu gaon for your overnight stay.
Day 8
Phu Gaon: Acclimatization Day

Phu Gaon is a very beautiful village located at the junction of Phu Khola. You can find well-maintained teahouses here. So, you can expect a good stay here. Phu is also great for exploring the suburbs and taking a day rest. Even to acclimatize, you’ll have to stay at Phu gaon for another day. You can utilize this day by visiting Thashi Lhakhang Monastery, yak pastures, and glacier spots.
Day 9
 Trek to Nar Village (4110m)

After bidding goodbye to Phu village, you will head to your next destination: Nar village. Another hidden and less explore settlement, Phu offers breathtaking sceneries. Walking along, you’ll retrace your steps upto the Phu gate. You will pass via villages like Khyang, Charkha, and Jhunam. Enjoying the mountain views, you will continue your walk to Phu Khola. Upon crossing a suspension bridge further, Nar village will welcome you.

 Dayrest and Acclimatization at Nar
Dayrest and Acclimatization at Nar
It is another dayrest for exploration and acclimatization. Utilize your time well by visiting Tashi Lhakhang and hiking up to Himlung Base Camp. There are many other side trips and adventurous activities available here. During your stay at Nar, you will explore the unique culture and tradition of residents. You can observe a typical lifestyle of the trans-Himalayan locals closely.
Day 11
Trek to Ngwal via Kang La Pass (5306m)
Trek to Ngwal via Kang La Pass (5306m)
This day is an ultimate day where you will cross the highest point of your trek: Kang La Pass at 5306m. It will take around two hours to get there. You will begin with a usual ascent via Jhombu Kharak, also known as Kang La Phedi. From the hilltop, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Annapurna and Manaslu range. A three hours long descent afterward will take you to Ngwal village.
Day 12

Now, you will climb towards the drier sections of the Manang district. You will be walking on tough terrains with an elevated altitude. You will then pass through villages like Braga and Braga monastery. On your way lies the fabulous views of peaks like Annapurna, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and Chulu. Walking about 4-5 hours from Ngwal, you’ll reach Manang for night stay.
Day 13
Trek to Yak Kharka (4018m)

Yak Kharka is your next destination for the day. Your journey will proceed through Kharsang Khola. It is a tributary of the Marsyangdi River. Along with the adventure, you will get a closeup of Mount Annapurna and Gangapurna. You will walk altogether for 4-5 hours until you reach Yak Kharka for a stay.
Day 14
 Trek to Thorong Phedi (4600m)

Leaving Yak Kharka, you will head forward. You get the option either to stay at Thorang Phedi or High Camp this day. You can choose the option depending upon your preference and experience. As you hike to the upper region, the views start getting more beautiful. The panoramic views of the mountain range will surround you. Amongst all, Annapurna II and Gangapurna will shine the brightest.

 Trek to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass (5416m)

This day is another one where you encounter the next highest point of your trek; Thorong La Pass. It is going to be a long and challenging day. After walking a constant uphill for about 3-4 hours, you will reach Thorong La Pass. This point features a unique thrill and adventuresome atmosphere. After a quick rest, you will head to Muktinath for the night stay.
Day 16

Your stay at Muktinath will be a fruitful one. Along with the views of magnetic vistas, you will also visit monasteries, gumbas, and holy lakes/spouts around. After a refreshing tour, you will retrace your steps. Reaching Jomsom, your journey comes to an end. Jomsom is another gem spot in this region. The views of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, and Nilgiri from Jomsom are breathtaking. There, you also can visit some spectacular traditional markets vending antique souvenirs.
Day 17
Early Flight to Pokhara (910m)
Early Flight to Pokhara (910m)
This is your final day of the trek. You are in the beautiful part of your trek. Thus, you can spend your morning exploring its suburbs. After the exploration, you will take a flight back to Pokhara. This half an hour flight experience is delightful. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can traverse to many tourist destinations. You will enjoy your stay there.

Flight/Drive From Pokhara to Kathmandu
Flight/Drive From Pokhara to Kathmandu
It is the final day of your journey. You have two options of return to Kathmandu. You can either take flight or take any private vehicle. The flight takes about half an hour while the drive takes 6-7 hours.
