Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival at Kathmandu

Our representatives will pick you from the airport (Tribhuvan International Airport) after your arrival. Then, you will head to your hotel and rest for a while. You will be staying at a 3-Star hotel in Kathmandu. Later in the evening, you can go to Thamel and have a fine evening. You will also get your permits and meet fellow travelers, guides, and porters this day.
Day 2
 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
On this day you will make the necessary preparations for your trek. You can talk to your guide and make sure you have everything packed in your bag. This way you can be fully prepared for this strenuous trek. Later, you will go for Kathmandu Sightseeing and visit several UNESCO World Heritage sites. These sites include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square

 Drive From Kathmandu to Soti Khola (730m) via Arughat (940m)

The journey to your Manaslu Circuit Trek begins. Since your trekking begins from Soti Khola, You will be taking an early ride there. The drive to Soti Khola via Arughat will take from 8-9 hours so it’s going to be a long journey. On your way, there are beautiful green ridges, unique landscapes, and cascading waterfalls. You will love these sceneries and the whole experience during the ride. Overnight at Soti Khola!

Soti Khola is the starting point of your trek. After an early breakfast, you will begin walking towards steep hills. Continuing the path, you will pass via settlements like Armala, Lapubesi, and Khanibesi. You will also walk alongside the bank of Budhi Gandaki river. The blue river, mount ridges, and dense forest will welcome your way until you reach Machha Khola.
Day 5

Trek From Machha Khola to Jagat (1400m)
You will begin this day’s journey with several uphill and a few downhills. You will cross Tharo Khola and pass via Khorla besi. You will also pass via Tatopani famous for its natural hot springs. You will also cross a suspension bridge and carry on until you reach Dobhan. After walking 1-2 hours further, you will reach Jagat where you’ll spend the night.
Day 6

On the sixth day, you will begin your journey through narrow alleys and rocky ridges. You can expect this day to be full of ascents. At first, you’ll climb Salleru hill and descend down towards Sirdibas. You will also pass via Gurung villages like Philim and Chisapani. All-day you’ll walk through dense forests full of pine and colorful rhododendrons. Upon walking for 5-6 hours, your journey for the day ends at Lokpa.

The seventh day is going to be a long day where you’ll walk for 6-7 hours. Despite the long journey, you’ll gain a short elevation. As usual, your journey starts with an uphill climb and take you to rhododendron filled forests. Then, you’ll be crossing several rivers like Sardi Khola, Lugwa Khola, and Siyar Khola. Wandering along narrow alleys, you’ll finally reach Chumling. Chumling indicates lower Tsum valley and is famous for Chumling gompa.
Day 8
Trek to Chhokangparo (3030m)

The journey to Chhokangparo will start by crossing a long suspension bridge and walking across farmlands. The trails then turn to Rainjaum alongside Serpu Khola. Continuing the walk, you’ll pass via Gho village. On the way, you cab enjoy Tibetan team tsampa, and special Arak & Chhang. Also, the spectacular view of Himal Chuli and Ganesh Himal will welcome you. After walking for 6-7 hours, you’ll reach Chhokangparo.

On the ninth day, you will proceed towards Nile. The trail will take you to Lama gaon at first. You can explore the famous Milarepa cave there. Another attraction of the day is Rachen Gompa, also known as Nunnery Gompa. Likewise, you come across villages like Phurbe and Pangdun. You can also visit several monasteries like Chule on your way. Upon reaching Nile, don’t forget to spot Churke and Kipu Himal.
Day 10

Another magical day of your trek begins as you head towards Mu Gompa. Mu Gompa, at 3700 meters, is the largest monastery. Mu Gompa is the vantage point of Tsum valley trek. And here you can spot numerous man walls and chortens. You can visit a famous Dhepu Doma Gompa at Mu. The view of Longnang Glacier, Fuchun Khola, and the peaks of Taya Himal and Pashuwo are also this day’s major attractions.

Acclimatization and Excursion at Mu Gompa

The eleventh day is going to be important as well as an exciting one. As you have been walking in higher elevations the past few days, daybreak is necessary. It is also the day for acclimatization, meaning adapting to increasing altitudes and lower oxygen. But it doesn’t mean you can’t explore the amazing suburbs around you.

Burgi village would be the next destination for you and this village is a beautiful part of ‘Little Tibet’. You will walk up early and start the journey by descending towards Ripchet village. You will also encounter places like Chule and Purbe. At the final stretch, you will cross Shiar Khola and you will reach Burgi village.
Day 13

Your morning will begin with a mesmerizing view of the Kipu Himal, Churke Himal, and Poshyop glacier. Now, after you have already finished exploring the Tsum valley, you’ll head towards the Manaslu region. For that, you’ll hit the trails towards Chumling. You will be retracing your steps along pine and rhododendron filled forests. Walking past Chhokangparo, you will reach Chumling after 5-6 hours of walking.
Day 14

This day will begin with an uphill ascent along the terraced ridge of Sahguleri. From its top, you can get fantastic views of Sringi Himal. Continuing along, you will pass through bamboo forest and the lower Nubri region called Kutang. After walking for 6-7 hours, Deng will welcome you with warm hospitality and direct views of Lumbo Himal, Lapuchen, and Dwijen Himal.

Another day of ascent begins after you cross the upstream of Deng river. On your way to Namrung, you will witness some spectacular sights of ancient gompas and monasteries. Also, you’ll come across villages like Ghap that belong to an ethnic Gurung tribe. The 7-8 hours long journey will come to an end when you’ll reach Namrung for the overnight stay.
Day 16

Following the peaks like Shringi Himal, Kutang Himal, and Ganesh Himal in the backdrop, you will cross Budi Gandaki. You will also pass via some terraced farmlands and pastures before getting to Lho. Lho is a small settlement famous for the spectacular view of Manaslu range including Ngadi Chuli and Peak 29.

Your day begins with a wonderful sunrise view at Lho. Leaving Lho, you will walk along the trails where you can visit many monasteries and mani walls. Rebung Gumba is the major highlight of the day. Built-in ancient times, this gumba is at the top of a hill. Along with cultural visits, it also offers a panoramic glance of Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Nadi Peak, Naike Peak, Kutang Himal, and more. Overnight at Sama Gaun.

Sama Gaon is another best place for you to acclimatize and take rest. You can explore a lot in this 500 years old monastery. There are antique monasteries that showcase religious Buddist culture. You can also hike up to places like Birendra Lake, Pungen Gumba, or Dzongkha Dzong, an ancient fortress. Sama Gaun is also famous for an undisturbed mountainous view, lakes, and glaciers.
Day 19

With another spectacular sunrise, you will proceed to the next part of your journey. After an energizing breakfast, you will start climbing a ridge that will take you close to Samdo village. You will have to walk for about 4-5 hours. What makes this day is special is the authentic Tibetan culture of local residents. You can also enjoy the sights of unique landscapes and farmlands once you reach Samdo.

It is another acclimatization day and this time it’s at Samdo. Samdo is also known as a Tibetan refugee camp where you get an opportunity to visit the Tibet border. You can hike up to the Tibet border Rui La, at 4998m. You can also explore unique landscapes alongside Fukang glacier and enjoy Himalayan panoramas.
Day 21
Trek to Dharmasala (4460m)

Here comes a big day of your trek as you head to one of the vantage points; Dharmasala. Dharamsala is also known to be Larkya Phedi or Larkya Base Camp. Situated at 4470 meters, this hub is famous for hanging glaciers, mani walls, and ancient monasteries. Likewise, on the way there, you pass via Gayala Khola and Larkya Bazaar. Exceptional view of majestic mountains will also welcome your path.
Day 22
Trek to Bimthang (3720m) via Larkya La Pass (5160m)

Here comes the most awaited and important day of Manaslu Circuit Trek. You will pass along the major highlight of this trek, Larke La Pass. This ridge is at a whopping altitude of 5160m. The way to Larkya La Pass is difficult but once you get on the top you’ll forget everything. The spectacular mount views of Manaslu, Himlung, Annapurna II, Cheo Himal will blow your mind. Afterward, you’ll descend your way to Bimthang for a night stay.
Day 23

The series of descent begins after you have discovered the main vantage point of Manaslu Circuit. The trails will take you to several hidden valleys, rocky cliffs, and dense forests. If you are in the spring season, you can enjoy colorful rhododendrons and many other floral species. You will also pass across farmlands of Thonje and Goe villages. Continuing your walk for 4-5 hours, you’ll reach Tilije and stay there.
Day 24
Trek to Tal (1700m)

This day, you will be walking across the final stretch of Manaslu Tsum valley trek. Descending the ridge, you will pass via Dharapani on your way. You will also pass through dense forests, waterfalls, and fields of wheat. You will have to walk 5-6 altogether to reach Tal. Overnight at Tal.
Day 25
Drive Back to Kathmandu (Tal-Besisahar-Kathmandu)
Drive Back to Kathmandu (Tal-Besisahar-Kathmandu)
On this last day of your trek, you will head back to Kathmandu. You will ride on a private vehicle from Jagat and drive via Besisahar. Once this 9 hours long ride is over, you can take rest or enjoy a fine evening at Kathmandu.

 Farewell Day!
Farewell Day!
It will be your final day in Nepal. Bidding the final goodbye, you will leave for your homeland. Our representative will drop you to the airport as per your flight timings.
