Your itinerary

Day 1
 Arrival in Kathmandu

After you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a detailed brief about your trip and meet your fellow travelers. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card. Make sure to bring all essential documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
You’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. This is also your prep day. You should be ready for the next day. So, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you need anything, you can buy or rent trekking gears from hubs like Thamel.
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1550m)
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1550m)
You will leave the capital and head towards the Langtang region. Syabrubesi is the starting point of this trek. And it will take you about 7-8 hours to get there. You will take a private jeep to your destination. This ride is going to be full of twists and turns and numerous switchbacks. But the breathtaking views of the Langtang region will relax you.

You will start your journey right after you register the trekking permits in Syabrubesi. Following the trails alongside Langtang river, you begin to ascend. This part of the trek features amazing trails over streams and dense forests. You also pass through villages like Old Syabru and Bamboo. Walking uphill trail for 6-7 hours, you will reach Changtang aka Lama Hotel.

You start your journey to Langtang Village. On your way, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of Langtang Lirung. You cross several suspension bridges and explore some beautiful waterfalls. You also come across settlements like Gumnachowk, Ghoda Tabela, and Chyamki. It will take about 6-7 hours for you to reach Langtang Village. This destination flaunts dramatic scenery of Gangchempu and other mountains.

Leaving Langtang Valley, you ascend forward climbing an uphill trail. This part of the trek to Kyanjin is a short one. You will walk only for 4-5 hours. Kyanjin Gompa is one of the famous parts of Langtang. It sits right below the majestic Langtang Lirung. This place flaunts Tibetan culture in the most authentic manner. Along with the cultural and natural bounty, you shouldn’t miss visiting the cheese factory there.

 Hike to Tserko Ri (4984m) and Back to Kyanjin Gompa

This is like an acclimatization day where you explore the suburbs of Kyanjin. Brace yourself as you will meet with an altitude above 4000m. After your breakfast, you’ll explore the nearest peak "Tserko Ri", 4984m. You can also witness an enchanting sunrise if you are early. You will view astounding Langtang Lirung, Langshisha Ri, Gyanghempo, Yansha, Nayakang Lay. Afterward, you will return to Kyanjin Gompa and take rest.

Trek back to Lama Hotel (2560m)
Trek back to Lama Hotel (2560m)
You will retrace your ways to reach Lama Hotel. Recollecting the memos, you pass via Mundu, Langtang Village, and Ghoda Tabla. You can visit some places you missed before. You will have to walk for about 5-6 hours to reach Lama Hotel for your night stay.

On this day, the trails combine diverse uphill and downhill. At first, you ascend towards Rimche village and walk down to the Langtang River. Crossing its suspension bridge, you will reach Syabrubesi. Here, your Langtang Trek completes and you head on to Gosainkunda. For that, you will continue your climb to the village of Thulo Syabru. You will have to walk about 5-6 hours for that.

Another day of uphill where you will ascend about 6-7 hours. The trails include dense forests, grasslands, and sheer uphill. If you are here in the spring season, colorful rhododendrons blossom your path. All in all, you get to explore the true natural wilderness to its fullest.
Day 11

The most amazing day of all, you will head to Gosainkunda Lake. You will begin your trek early in the morning. Walking along the forest of Himalayan fir, you will reach Cholangpati and Lauribina. You can have your breakfast/lunch there. Settlements in this region are scarce. On your way, you will enjoy the dramatic glimpse of Saraswati Kunda, Ganesh Kunda, and Bhairab Kunda. Upon walking for 6-7 hours, you will reach the holy lake of Gosainkunda (4380m). Overnight at the teahouse of Gosainkunda.

You will wake up with spectacular scenery around you. The lovely panorama of the surroundings is unforgettable. The appeasing lake with glorious ridges will make you crave for more adventure. After your breakfast, your ascent marches ahead to Helambu Valley. You will cross rocky moraines full of exotic vegetation and faunal life. You will encounter Surya Kunda and pass Lauribina La as you walk towards Gopte for a night stay.
Day 13

Leaving Ghopte, you follow heaps of uphill and downhill trails within narrow paths. But on the way, you can enjoy the outstanding panorama of the Langtang range. You will see Langtang Lirung, Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar and many more. You also delve into settlements like Tharepati. After walking for 6-7 hours, you’ll reach Melamchigaon and stay there for the night!
Day 14
Melamchigaon to Tarkeghyang (2590m)

You will continue your journey after having breakfast. Leaving Melamchi, you start ascending Ama Yangri (3800m) first. There is a lovely stupa there full of colorful prayer flags. This hilltop also gives the best views of the Langtang range. Thereafter walking for 5-6 hours, you will reach a beautiful Sherpa village called Tarkeghyang.
Day 15

On this day, you begin your trek right after your breakfast. You walk with paths rich in beautiful and dense forests. They flaunt different types of flora & fauna like rhododendrons, orchid, and fir. Then, you will reach various Sherpa settlements. You will also encounter chortens, monastery, and mani walls before reaching Sermathang. Sermanthang is famous for its mount views like Ganesh Himal and Jugal Himal.
Day 16
Trek Down to Melamchi Bazaar, Drive Back to Kathmandu

You will begin an early hike and continue through fields & meadows. After walking for 3-4 hours, you reach Melamchi Bazaar. It will take about 2 hours of driving to reach Kathmandu. The rest of your time is leisure. Relax, enjoy, and celebrate your accomplishment in the way you prefer
