Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

After you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a detailed brief about your trip and meet your fellow travelers. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card. Make sure to bring all essential documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
You’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. This is also your prep day. You should be ready for the next day. So, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you need anything, you can buy or rent trekking gears from hubs like Thamel.
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1550m)

You will leave the capital and head towards the Langtang region. Syabrubes is the starting point of this trek. And it will take you about 7-8 hours to get there. You will take a private jeep to your destination. This ride is going to be full of twists and turns and numerous switchbacks. But the breathtaking views of the Langtang region will relax you.

You will start your journey right after you register the trekking permits in Syabrubesi. Following the trails alongside Langtang river, you begin to ascend. This part of the trek features amazing trails over streams and dense forests. You also pass through villages like Old Syabru and Bamboo. Walking uphill trail for 6-7 hours, you will reach Changtang aka Lama Hotel.

You start your journey to Langtang Village. On your way, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of Langtang Lirung. You cross several suspension bridges and explore some beautiful waterfalls. You also come across settlements like Gumnachowk, Ghoda Tabela, and Chyamki. It will take about 6-7 hours for you to reach Langtang Village. This destination flaunts dramatic scenery of Gangchempu and other mountains.

Leaving Langtang Valley, you ascend forward climbing an uphill trail. This part of the trek to Kyanjin is a short one. You will walk only for 4-5 hours. Kyanjin Gompa is one of the famous parts of Langtang. It sits right below the majestic Langtang Lirung. This place flaunts Tibetan culture in the most authentic manner. Along with the cultural and natural bounty, you shouldn’t miss visiting the cheese factory there.

Acclimatization Day/Hike to Tserko Ri (4984m)

This is an acclimatization day where you explore the suburbs of Kyanjin. Brace yourself as you will meet with an altitude above 4000m. After your breakfast, you’ll explore the nearest peak "Tserko Ri", 4984m. You can also witness an enchanting sunrise if you are early. You will view astounding Langtang Lirung, Langshisha Ri, Gyanghempo, Yansha, Nayakang Lay. Afterward, you will return to Kyanjin Gompa and take rest.

Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Ngengang (4000m)

Your trek to Langtang region completes. Now on, you will proceed toward the highest point of this trek; Ganja La. Leaving Gompa, you’ll climb the trails full of sparse alpine vegetation. You will continue the walk and cross rivers like Langtang Khola and Chhana Lake. you will reach Ngengang after walking for 5-6 hours.

This is the ultimate day of your trek. You meet the highest pass of the trek; Ganja La Pass, at 5130m. But this part of the trek is challenging as well. The paths are going to be rigorous as you reach Keldang. They are slippery as snow covers them throughout the year. Be careful as you walk along narrow, icy, and slippery paths. Once you get on the tophill, you will forget en route trouble and enjoy fantastic views. Overnight at Keldang (4270m)!
Day 10

This is another long journey where you will walk for 7-8 hours. You set your journey to Dhukpa after your breakfast. Compared to the last day, this part of the trails is easier. You may go through several ups and downs along the ridges as well as grasslands.
Day 11

Now, your trail will head to descending in the beginning. Then, you will proceed to climb the Yangri Peak. There are delightful pine and rhododendron forests on your way. After hiking up and down for 6-7 hours, you will be at a large Sherpa Village; Tarkegyang.
Day 12

On this day, you begin your trek right after your breakfast. You walk with paths rich in beautiful and dense forests. They flaunt different types of flora & fauna like rhododendrons, orchid, and fir. Then, you will reach various Sherpa settlements. You will also encounter chortens, monastery, and mani wall before reaching Sermathang. Sermanthang is famous for its mount views like Ganesh Himal and Jugal Himal.
Day 13
 Trek Down to Melamchi Bazaar, Drive Back to Kathmandu

You will begin an early hike and continue through fields & meadows. After walking for 3-4 hours, you reach Melamchi Bazaar. It will take about 2 hours of driving to reach Kathmandu. The rest of your time is leisure. Relax, enjoy, and celebrate your accomplishment in the way you prefer
