Welcome to the capital city of Nepal! After you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a complete brief about each day's schedule of your trip. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card. Do remember to bring necessary documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation

You’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. This is also your prep day. You need to be ready for your journey the next day. Thus, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you are missing something, then you can buy them from hubs like Thamel.

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (2030m)

You will leave the capital and head towards the Langtang region. Dhunche is the starting point of your trek. And it will take you about 7-8 hours to get there. You will take a private jeep to your destination. This ride is going to be full of twists and turns and numerous switchbacks. You will have an amazing experience throughout the ride. Overnight at the lodge of Dhunche.

First day of your trek, brace yourself as the series of rough and tough trails await. You begin your trek through grass fields and several bridges. With time, the narrow ascents start to begin. Gosainkunda Lake Trek is still one of the remote treks in Nepal. Hence, you can’t expect trails to be as sophisticated as in commercial treks like ABC, EBC. Overnight at Shin Gompa/Chandanbaari. Here, you can visit Buddhist monasteries and enjoy mountain & green-hills panorama.
Day 5
 Trek To Gosainkunda (4380m)

The most amazing and ultimate day of all, you will head to Gosainkunda Lake. You will begin your trek early in the morning. Walking along the forest of Himalayan fir, you will reach Cholangpati and Lauribina. You can have your breakfast/lunch there. Settlements in this region are scarce. On your way, you will enjoy the dramatic glimpse of Saraswoti Kunda, Ganesh Kunda, and Bhairab Kunda. Upon walking for 6-7 hours, you will reach the holy lake of Gosainkunda (4380m). The lovely panorama of its surroundings is unforgettable.

Your stay at Gosiankunda is going to be awesome. It is such a remarkable journey that everyone will love to endure. Plus, the whole 360-degree panorama of the Langtang region and gigantic ranges is breathtaking. And pristinity of Gosainkunda lake itself is so divine. After enjoying the surroundings, you will bid farewell to this piece of heaven. Descending for 6 to 7 hours, you will return to Dhunche.

While opting for Gosainkunda trek, the Langtang region offers many more options. Instead of returning to Dhunche the last day, you can trek to other destinations. Syabrubesi, Gopte, Helambu, Langtang Valley are some of your options. So, if you plan to explore more in this spectacular region, you got a list of backups. But, if you have limited time, follow this itinerary. This day, you will drive back and trader to your hotel. You are free to enjoy your leisure time afterward.
