Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

After you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a detailed brief about your trip and meet your fellow travelers. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card. Make sure to bring all essential documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
You’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. This is also your prep day. You should be ready for the next day. So, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you need anything, you can buy or rent trekking gears from hubs like Thamel.
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (2030m)
Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (2030m)
You will leave the capital and head towards the Langtang region. Dhunche is the starting point of your trek. It takes about 7-8 hours to drive in a private jeep to get there. This ride is going to be full of twists and turns and numerous switchbacks. You will have an amazing experience throughout the ride. Overnight at the lodge of Dhunche.

Here comes the first day of your trek so brace yourself for rough and tough trails. You begin your trek through grass fields and several bridges. With time, the narrow ascents start to begin. Gosainkunda Lake Trek is still one of the remote treks in Nepal. Overnight at Shin Gompa/Chandanbaari. You can visit nearby Buddhist monasteries and enjoy mountain & green-hills panorama here.
Day 5
Trek To Gosainkunda (4380m)

The most amazing and ultimate day of all, you will head to Gosainkunda Lake. You will begin your trek early in the morning. Walking along the forest of Himalayan fir, you will reach Cholangpati and Lauribina. You can have your breakfast/lunch there. Settlements in this region are scarce. On your way, you will enjoy the dramatic glimpse of Saraswati Kunda, Ganesh Kunda, and Bhairab Kunda. Upon walking for 6-7 hours, you will reach the holy lake of Gosainkunda (4380m). Overnight at the teahouse of Gosainkunda.

You will wake up with spectacular scenery around you. The lovely panorama of the surroundings is unforgettable. The appeasing lake with glorious ridges will make you crave for more adventure. After your breakfast, your ascent marches ahead to Helambu Valley. You will cross rocky moraines full of exotic vegetation and faunal life. You will encounter Surya Kunda and pass Lauribina La as you walk towards Gopte for a night stay.
Day 7

Trek From Ghopte to Kutumsang (2470m)
This is another challenging day of Gosainkunda Helambu Trek. There are heaps of uphill and downhill trails within narrow paths. But on the way, you can enjoy the outstanding panorama of the Langtang range. You will see Langtang Lirung, Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar and many more. You also delve into settlements like Tharepati, Mangengoth, and Kyuola Bhanjyang. After walking for 6-7 hours, you’ll stay at Kutumsang!
Day 8
Trek to Chisapani (2150m)

You will continue your journey after having breakfast. Leaving Kutumsang, you start ascending Jogin Danda first. Then, there is a short descent down the Gul Bhanjyang. You climb across ridges like Thotang and Lapcha Danda. The settlements begin to widen up a little. Walking for 6-7 hours, you will reach Chisapani. Chisapani is a famous hiking destination with ample lodges and perfect natural scenery.

You will begin an early hike and enter Shivapuri National Park. You will again pass ridges like B Bhanjyang. You get a closer sight of Tamang culture and lifestyle within these trails. Their hostility is admirable and their food includes a tasty combo of fresh seasonal veggies. After walking for 4-5 hours, you reach Sundarijal. It will take about 1 hour of driving to reach Kathmandu.
