Day 1

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital hub of culture and tourism. Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive and transfer you to the respective hotel. Later, you will get a complete brief about each day's schedule of your trip. You will also receive your permits and TIMS card this day. Make sure you carry necessary documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

Prep Day and Sightseeing Around Kathmandu Valley
Prep Day and Sightseeing Around Kathmandu Valley
This is your prep day. You need to be ready for your journey the next day. Thus, pack your bags with all the necessary stuff and gears. If you are missing something, then you can buy them with ease. You will get them in the famous hubs like Thamel and Durbarmarg. Along with this, you’ll have a full day for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath.

Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2610m)

You will take a short and scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. You can enjoy the alluring views of the Himalayas within your ride. Within about 30-45 minutes, you will reach Lukla. Lukla is a small and famous Sherpa village in the Everest region. After some rest, you begin your trek. Walking alongside Dudh Koshi for 3-hours, you’ll reach Phakding for your night stay.

Now, your next destination will be Namche Bazaar. Namche is another famous village in the Khumbu region. The trail to Namche comprises challenges, adventure, and natural beauty. You’ll cross suspension bridges and behold prayer wheels, stupas, and shrines. You will also pass via settlements like Monjo village. Monjo village also is the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park.

Rest and Acclimatization at Namche Bazar (3445m)
Rest and Acclimatization at Namche Bazar (3445m)
You’ll spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize. This prepares you for adapting the thinner oxygen level at high altitudes. This is important to avoid Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS). Even though this is an acclimatization day, you will walk up to Syangboche village. From its top, you can enjoy enticing views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and more. This day, you can also roam and visit cafes, bakery shops, and restaurants around Namche.

Trek From Namche to Dole (4200m)

Leaving Namche, you will head towards the Gokyo region. You need to reach Dole for that. You will begin your trek early in the morning. You pass through many uphill & downhill including Monj La Pass, Phortse Tenga. Continuing the ascent, you will reach Dole within about 5 hours.

From Dole, you will follow the trail that offers the most spectacular view of Cho Oyu, Kantega, and Thamserku. Likewise, you visit villages like Luza that dwell with rocky terrain. You will also have a glimpse of Kyajo glacier on your way. Once you reach Machhermo, you can also visit the Himalayan Rescue Hospital and learn more about altitude sickness.

This is an especial day as you head towards “Gokyo Valley”. Like the other days, you go through several ups & downs. The panoramic views of Mt. Cho Oyu (8210m) and Kangtega (6685m) keep on mesmerizing. You also pass via the six iconic lakes of Gokyo. Gokyo valley will give an amazing experience of nature’s wonders. Overnight at Gokyo Valley.
Day 9
Day Rest at Gokyo. Hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m)

This is the day where you hike up to the highest point of Everest Gokyo Lake Trek. This is also a day rest after some exhaustive days. You will explore many alluring highlights of this region. You come across Ngozumpa glacier, one of the biggest glaciers in the world. You will climb the elevated Gokyo Ri (5360m). This is a vantage point for a perfect panorama of Cho-Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu.

Bidding goodbye to Gokyo Valley and Gokyo, you begin you retrace your steps. For sure, the moments within Gokyo & Gokyo Ri are precious and you will relish those for a lifetime. Keeping those unforgettable memories, you pass via Gokyo Lakes. You also get the final view of Ngozumpa glacier. You keep on continuing the same path until you reach Dole.

Dole to Namche
Dole to Namche
The trails for this day will take you into the alpine forests of Monga Danda and Kyanjoma. Their lush vegetation is rich in exotic flora & faunas. The trails also will give you some impressive views of majestic peaks. Compared to other days, this day is easy with a walking duration of 6-7 hours.
Day 12
 Trek Back to Lukla (2860m)

Another day of descent begins. This day is almost a downhill trek along the Dudh Koshi river. You pass via many suspension bridges, monasteries, chortens, and mani walls. You will reach Lukla after 6-7 hours. Upon reaching, you can take rest and celebrate your accomplishment. Overnight at the teahouse of Lukla!
