Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Welcome upon your arrival to the city of temples. You will receive a warm welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then check-in to your hotel and get a detailed plan of your trek. You will get your permits this day and meet fellow travelers, guides, and porters. Make sure to bring necessary documents like passport, copies of photos, travel insurance policy, etc.

 Trek Preparation and Kathmandu Valley Exploration
Trek Preparation and Kathmandu Valley Exploration
You’ll have a full day exploring Kathmandu Valley. On this trip, you will visit UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites. It includes Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. It will be a fun day exploring these awesome places and knowing the cultural history behind their existence.
Day 3
 Drive From Kathmandu to Hugdi (309m)
Drive From Kathmandu to Hugdi (309m)
You will begin the drive towards the west of Kathmandu after you've had your breakfast. It is going to be a drive of 3-4 hours via a private vehicle covering 80 kilometers. The destination for this ride is Hugdi, a beautiful village with magnificent mountain views. Upon reaching there, you’ll have a refreshing visit to Hudgi bazaar You can also witness the colorful mix of typical cultures of local Magar, Chepang, and Giripuri around.

Trek From Hugdi to Hatti Bang (1410m)
Trek From Hugdi to Hatti Bang (1410m)
You will begin your trek with a gradual ascent from Hugdi after breakfast. You will climb steadily and get at a Magar settlement. Till you reach Hatti Bang, you pass via several shops, temples, and villages. Upon walking about 4-5 hours, you’ll reach Hatti Bang. This village is famous for its scenic view of green hills and the Annapurna range. Also, it’s alluring from cultural aspects.

Trek From Hatti Bang to Jyandala (1600m)
Trek From Hatti Bang to Jyandala (1600m)
Leaving Hatti Bang, you’ll hit the trails towards Jyandala village. You begin by ascending a ridge and from its hilltop, you can enjoy marvelous views of mount ranges surrounding you. On your way, you can also visit settlements like Jautesh, Dinglang, and Changa. These all are special Chepang settlements showcasing their unique culture. After walking for five hours, you’ll reach Jyandala, a famous spot for viewing the highest peaks of Nepal.
Day 6
Trek From Jyndala to Upper Dhangadi (1275m)
Trek From Jyndala to Upper Dhangadi (1275m)
After Jyandala, your next destination is Upper Dhandagi for which you’ll walk for approx 6 hours. The trails for this day would include a series of ascents and descents across deep forests. You can enjoy a variety of floral & faunal species. The stretch is also famous for bird-watching as there are more than 300 species of bird here. Upon reaching Upper Dhangadi, you can explore Gadi, an ancient fort.
Day 7
Trek To Shaktikhor (355m)
Trek To Shaktikhor (355m)
The day has six hours of trekking which will take you to Shaktikhor at the end. Shaktikhor is another Chepang village that showcases their ethnic culture. There are amazing caves and waterfalls around here. To get there, you will descend steeply and pass-through villages like Kolar, Sampharang, and finally Shakti Khola.
Day 8
 Drive From Shaktikhor to Chitwan (415m)
Drive From Shaktikhor to Chitwan (415m)
After exploring Shaktikhor, you will head to Chitwan. You will take a drive back there and it’s going to be about 2 hours. You will reach the famous city afterward and start exploring. There are literally tonnes of activities that you can do in Chitwan like Jungle safari, Canoe ride, Elephant back safari, and village walk. In the evening, you’ll be a part of the cultural Tharu program, a refreshing enticing one.
Day 9
 Flight/Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu
Flight/Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu
If you wish you can stay in Chitwan one day more and do more activities. Otherwise, here comes the final day of your journey. You have two options of return to Kathmandu. You can either take flight or take any private vehicle. The flight takes about half an hour while the drive takes 5-6 hours. As you know both options have good perks, the choice is all yours.
